Spekulatius is also a real treat in the form of a spread in the run-up to Christmas. Of course, chocolate has to be included, that’s as clear as day. Ingredients

For 1 glas of spread

  • 2 bars iChoc White Vanilla Chocolate
  • 30 g vegan butter
  • 50 g vegan cream cheese
  • 50 g speculoos biscuits

How to make it

1. Melt the chocolate together with the butter carefully in a bain-marie and stir until everything is well combined.

2. Add the cream cheese to the mixture and stir again until a homogeneous mass has formed.

3. Crush the speculoos biscuits in a blender. Add the chocolate mixture and blend everything to a creamy spread.

Tip: Fill into a clean screw-top jar or something similar and store in the fridge. Tastes especially good on freshly baked bread. The spread is also perfect with an additional layer of fruit compote (e.g. plum, cherry, …) or jam on top.
